Special Needs Oklahoma City

Why Sponsor Us?

The Puzzle Piece Ranch is addressing an urgent and growing need within the special needs community. With autism rates rising from 1 in 60 to 1 in 36 over the past 12 years, and 80,000–90,000 students in Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs) within 100 miles, the demand for inclusive, sensory-friendly spaces is greater than ever. The Ranch offers a transformative solution, creating a haven where special needs children can celebrate, play, and learn, while adults with special needs gain access to meaningful work and life skills development. Beyond direct beneficiaries, the Ranch has the potential to positively impact over 700,000 people when considering siblings, parents, and caregivers, providing a holistic support system that nurtures confidence, fosters independence, and strengthens families.

Staci N.

The Puzzle Piece Ranch (PPR) holds a special place in my heart as a parent to children with special needs. I understand firsthand the challenges families face in finding safe, enriching environments where their loved ones can thrive. PPR is more than just a space—it’s a sanctuary where children and adults with special needs are celebrated for who they are, given opportunities to grow, and supported in ways that truly matter.

PPR offers sensory-friendly activities, life skills training, and meaningful work opportunities designed to foster confidence and independence. As a proud mother of six, I know how vital it is to have a trusted place where special needs individuals can participate in experiences that nurture their potential while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Why PPR is essential:

Oklahoma is home to approximately 80,000–90,000 students on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and nearly 100,000 adults with special needs. Yet, the resources and facilities available are far too limited to meet the needs of this growing community.

PPR seeks to change that by providing a safe, supportive environment where families like mine can find hope, connection, and opportunities for their loved ones. This is not just about filling a gap—it’s about building a community where every special needs individual can experience joy, growth, and a sense of belonging.
